Just finished up a series of classes that took place on the Oshkosh FVTC campus. This 6 class series started with the basics and moved on to build on those basic skills using different colored tiles, pens, and more intricate tangles. Below are some photos of what these talented students created.
1st class – 1/27 – Tangles are Static, Crescent Moon, Knightsbridge, Dyon, and Printemps
2nd class – 2/3/15 Tangles included Squill, Cubine, Snail, and Keeko. They added one more of their choosing.
3rd class 2/10/15. For a Valentine related tile we created borders on a 3.5 tile and inserted a Bijou tile with stylized heart tangle. They turned out quite lovely.
One of the tiles for the white pen on black tile class – our 4th class. Tangles were Shattuck, Bales with variations and Printemps. They really glow!
First Renaissance tile for this class. Tangles used were Purk, Crescent Moon, Bales, and Indy-Rella. Using the three different pens makes a dramatic difference!
Last class and special project. We created holders for the 3.5 inch tiles on which we created monotangles. Tangles were Betweed, Ixorus, and Marasu. We hinged the tile holders together to form a book of sorts. Aren’t they the coolest!
Here is a photo of the talented ladies who participated in this series of classes! Tangle on, my friends!
Five of the seven who had enrolled in the class. It was tons of fun, thank you, ladies!
P.S. Next series of classes starts in March! Don’t miss out on the fun!
